Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit,
non-denominational organization dedicated to providing
grocery relief and financial support to communities
throughout the United States. The program began in 1994
with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta
and Athens), and has grown to serve thousands of families
every month across 17 states. Angel Food Ministries
crosses denominational lines and has spread the good
news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts
that are placed in each food order.
There are no second-hand items, no damaged or out-dated
goods, and no dented cans without labels. There is no
limit to the number of boxes an individual can purchase
and there are no income guidelines or applications to
complete. The food can be paid for with cash or check.
Payment must be received at time of order.
Wesley United Methodist Church in Fruitland, MO is
the Angel Food distribution site in the Jackson - Cape
Girardeau County area. Wesley UMC is located at 142
Carnation Lane, just of Hwy 177. Orders can be mailed
to the church address or you can drop your order off
Mon. - Thurs. 9:00 am to 12:00 noon in the church office.
The menu/order form states the deadline for orders and
the distribution date for the current month. For more
