Praise God! I want to share just a few of the many testimonies of physical healing with you in order to encourage your faith to be healed! Jesus often told people, "According to your faith, be it done onto you!"

I believe in the mind/body connection, I believe that faith still heals, and I believe that healing still happens. I follow the Biblical approach to praying for the sick, found in James 5: 14-15, "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will make the sick person well; and the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven." 1. On Sunday April 18, an older church member received the laying on of hands and prayer for her sleep deprivation, and her husband, because of trouble breathing. The husband was reported as doing fine and working at in his yard the next day. The woman switched her medication, and reported on the following Monday that she was sleeping much better.

2. A 90 year old woman received prayer for arthritis on Thursday April 8, and she said, on Monday April 26, that her arthritis had significantly diminished to the point of not feeling the arthritic pain anymore. She also received prayer for her twelve-year deteriorating vertebrae problem. She immediately got up out of her chair, and forgetting to use her walker, she walked across the room, and reported that her vertebrae pain was gone!

3. After receiving prayer on Thursday May 6, 2004 at the National Day of Prayer meeting, an older church member reported some days later that he felt a decrease in his back pain! A woman who received prayer on the same day reported the following Sunday that her anxiety over up coming medical tests was significantly decreased!

4. Another older woman received prayer for her arthritis, which decreased significantly in her legs and she got her voice back after a couple of months of having little to no voice, in June of 2004.

5. One woman reported that “things are going a little easier” for her family problems since the church added her family to the prayer list.

6. One older woman suffered a broken hip after a fall out of her van, but she only took a record thirteen minutes for her hip surgery procedure!

7. A young boy suffered a laceration down his forehead after a softball injury. The doctors said that he would be tired, lethargic, and drowsy after the procedure to put in stitches, but after the procedure, he was up and running around with seeming boundless energy!

8. In August of 2004, the 90 year old woman with the arthritis reported that she still had no arthritis pain in her hands!!

9. During the August 2004 Revival services at Wesley United Methodist Church, a visitor from Belleview, Missouri reported that she was healed of a year-old knee injury that she believed would require laproscopic surgery. For months she had to elevate her leg while sitting, because of a pain in her knee that shot through her leg. The guest evangelist, Rev. David Bentley, prayed for her leg, and the pain went away and has been gone ever since!!

10. A group of us prayed for a school nurse’s knees on Sunday September 12, 2004 at the Belleview R3 School prayer walk, and it was reported that her knees have not hurt her thus far and that she feels so much better than she had for a long time. She said that she was so happy that she could cry!!

11. On Sunday October 24, 2004, I learned that a retired pastor’s wife had received pray from David Bentley during our two-night Revival services for a neck problem. Though there was no immediate change, recently she reported that one day while she was going about her daily household work she heard a voice in her head say, "You are healed!" Then her neck cracked a couple of times, and suddenly the pain was almost completely gone!
