Pastor Kevin will be preaching a sermon series during the month of October called: “MESSY DISCIPLES: God Prefers Imperfect People!”

Based on the book, Messy Spirituality, this sermon series is designed for those of us who focus on our imperfections and flaws instead of God’s fondness for imperfect people. We spend most of our lives feeling like we never measure up and worried about what we have not done instead of what we have done? Why? Because we’ve been bombarded with Christian books, Christian tapes, Christian seminars, Christian music, and Christian sermons convincing us that real Christians are always happy, joyful, good, holy, content, giving, sacrificial, and, well…perfect.

If you want to find Jesus today, look for Him in the midst of burned-out believers, moral misfits, religious incompetents…men and women whose lives are, well, messy! Messy disciples are exactly the kind of imperfect people whose company Jesus actually enjoyed when He walked the earth…and still enjoys!

This sermon series begins Sunday October 2nd.
